Around 1:00 PM, the tour stops at Dunluce Castle for a 30-minute visit, with entrance included.

Perched dramatically on a cliff’s edge, this medieval ruin offers breathtaking views of the rugged coastline. Dunluce Castle is famous for its appearance in Game of Thrones as the ancestral seat of House Greyjoy, known as Pyke Castle in the series.

This visit offers a great opportunity to explore the ruins and capture unforgettable photos of this iconic site before continuing your journey.

Giant's Causeway

At 1:50 PM, arrive at the iconic Giant’s Causeway, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famed for its unique hexagonal basalt columns formed by ancient volcanic activity. You’ll have 2.5 hours to explore this breathtaking natural wonder at your own pace, taking in the dramatic coastline, walking the trails, and capturing unforgettable photos.

Lunch options are available nearby at The Nook pub, where you can enjoy a meal or refreshments (optional, not included). This generous stop gives you ample time to fully experience the Causeway’s stunning scenery and rich mythology.

The tour departs the Giant’s Causeway at 4:20 PM, beginning the return journey to Dublin with a 15-minute rest stop at Castlebellingham Service Station to stretch your legs before arriving back in the city.

You’ll have around 2.5 hours of free time at the Giant’s Causeway. You can take the shuttle bus down to the stones (small extra charge, paid locally) or walk along one of the scenic hiking trails for incredible coastal views. There’s also a traditional pub nearby where many guests choose to have lunch or a coffee before rejoining the coach.

Meals are not included, but there are several café and restaurant options along the way, including a pub near the Giant’s Causeway where you can enjoy lunch or coffee. You’re also welcome to bring your own packed lunch.

This tour operates as a round trip from Dublin, but in some cases, pickup or drop-off in Belfast may be possible on request. Please email our office in advance at info@wildrovertours.com to check availability.
