I had a great time on this tour and would definitely recommend it. I visited on May 31, 2026, with our tour guide Stephen, and the experience was absolutely worthwhile for seeing the Cliffs of Moher. One thing to keep in mind is that your experience is heavily dependent on the weather. Luckily, the day I went was sunny, so we had clear and stunning views of the cliffs.
Afterward, we headed to Galway. … More Personally, I was not overly impressed by Galway itself, but it was still a pleasant stop for lunch and browsing the local shops. That said, the Cliffs of Moher alone made the entire tour worth it.
The driver did an excellent job navigating the very narrow roads, and Stephen was fantastic throughout the trip. He shared engaging stories about Irish culture, history, and myths that made the long drive much more enjoyable. Compared to other tours I’ve taken around Europe, I would say this was one of the better ones.
A quick disclaimer for travelers: the roads are narrow, winding, and fairly bumpy. If you are prone to motion sickness, the drive—especially the roughly two-hour stretch between the cliffs and Galway—may be uncomfortable

We started with a tour of Belfast and the Giants causeway with our guide Stephen and driver Donna. It was a very fun day trip with lots of laughs thanks to Stephen's many funny stories.
Thanks to that, we wanted to do another day trip with Wild rover tours. So we booked a trip to the Cliffs of Moher and Galway, where we had the guide Niamh and Sarah driving the bus. They were also very good … More and provided many laughs.
All in all we were very happy with Wild rover tours and will go with them again when we are back in Ireland. 😊

I did the tour to the Cliffs and Galway and was suuuuper nice, well organised and punctual. Our guide Gillian was really kind and shared a lot of information not just abou the cliffs and Galway, but about the whole Ireland, which it is very nice. The driver Darren was also super kind and welcoming. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing day visiting the Cliffs of Moher. Matt was an outstanding tour guide—friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly funny. He kept us entertained the entire day with all kinds of fascinating stories about Ireland, its history, culture, traditions, and even Irish mythology. The way he told the stories was hilarious, engaging, and memorable, making the long drive feel much shorter and adding … More so much to the experience.
A special thank you as well to our driver, Stepen, who did a fantastic job navigating the roads safely and comfortably. We always felt in great hands throughout the trip.
The entire tour was well organized, the scenery was breathtaking, and the experience exceeded our expectations. If you’re visiting Ireland and want to learn about the country while having a great time, this is the tour to take. Thank you, Matt and Stephen, for an unforgettable day!

We had a fantastic tour to the Cliffs of Moher, The Burren and Galway City with Jillian and Joe. This tour was beyond worthwhile, and the scenery was just incredible. Do yourself a favor and book it— it’s a GREAT value and an unforgettable experience.
Jillian’s commentary and stories were excellent and greatly appreciated. She was very informative and also gave great recommendations for things to see, … More do and taste for each of our stops. (She was additionally VERY patient with the Trumpers from Colorado who sat behind her and felt the need to share all their unwanted political opinions with everyone. I can’t say I would have been as gracious! The entire bus let out a collective sigh and eye roll with their forced commentary.)
Joe was a fantastic driver and incredibly warm and friendly. (How he drives a huge bus on some of these roads is borderline miraculous! 😅🙈)
Our ONLY critiques would be that the “free WiF” onboard the bus never worked (even though we were on the newest bus). When we pulled up to other Wild Rover buses paralleling us, we would see their wifi pop up as an option, but ours never worked. Additionally, a motorcoach (bus w/ a toilet) might be preferable to invest in with these longer tour days (some folks on board were unable to make it to the next stop without needing facilities, so an unplanned stop was made to accommodate).

We had a fantastic experience with WRT! We took two trips: 1. Galway, Cliffs of Moher, & the Burren, and 2. Kilkenny, Wicklow Mountains, and Glendalough, during our stay in Dublin. I couldn’t recommend them more.
The trips were well organized and ran efficiently. Even though the excursions appear long, the day goes by surprisingly fast.
Brian and Neil were both fantastic guides, who provided ample … More historical information that we likely wouldn’t have picked up if we had traveled to these spots on our own. I also want to shout out our drivers Darren and John - who seamlessly navigated the roads and kept us safe the entire time!
My only complaint? That we didn’t have enough time to explore every location - each visit left me wanting more! Alas, there’s only so much you can do with a limited amount of time and WRT does their best to provide a well rounded experience.
Now we know where to come back the next time we visit Ireland!

We had a very good experience overall on our tour from Dublin to the Cliffs of Moher with a stop in Galway. John was a great tour guide and was very helpful and informative throughout the trip. The bus was nice and comfortable, and everyone on the tour was friendly which made for a good atmosphere.
One thing to keep in mind is this is a long day with a lot of time on the bus and some of the roads … More are narrow and winding. If you deal with motion sickness, this might not be the best tour for you.
That being said, the Cliffs of Moher are absolutely worth it. The views are breathtaking and made the travel time completely worth it. Galway was also a nice stop with plenty of restaurants, shopping, churches, cathedrals, and a nice memorial park to walk around and enjoy.
This tour worked really well for our family and we were happy we did it. Long day but a great experience overall.

Stephen (driver) and Matt (guide) were great today. The drive was smooth and Matt’s knowledge about Irish history as well as the places we went made the 13 hours fly by! Galway city was beautiful as well as the Cliffs of Moher. 2 hours at each location was plenty of time. 9/10 trip only because the WiFi isn’t that great on the bus
