A beautiful spot on the westernmost point of Ireland, Dingle is a haven of culture, music, and tradition. The town of Dingle boasts more pubs per capita than any other town in Ireland – and it is here you can listen to the lively beat of Irish folk music and have a chat with a local. Drawn by its remote location and stunning natural beauty, artists, musicians and creative souls have flocked to the small town of Dingle. The summer months are when Dingle really comes to life, bustling with locals and tourists, traditional music festivals, film festivals, creative workshops, sporting events and much more! Although the Irish language and traditions have survived, English is widely spoken in this remote corner, and the friendly locals are always on hand to help in any way they can!
The countryside surrounding Dingle offers some of the most stunning landscape in all of Ireland. With the highest density of archaeological artefacts in Western Europe, this ancient landscape is steeped in mythology and folklore. The windswept Dingle Peninsula offers panoramic views over the wild Atlantic ocean, and the surrounding rolling hills come in a multitude of shades of green. Travelling along the loop of the Dingle Peninsula will take you up narrow winding mountain roads, often blocked by idle sheep. The view from here is something out of this world – clouds hang low over the tops of the mountains and the network of patchwork green fields stretch as far as the eye can see.
Because Wild Rover want you to experience the best of the Dingle Peninsula, we offer a Ring of Kerry and Dingle Peninsula 2 Day Tour. Get ready to journey the stunning Ring of Kerry and take in incredible views over the Atlantic sea. We’ll also head to the beautiful traditional towns of Killarney and Dingle, and if you’re lucky you can catch a glimpse of Fungie, the resident dolphin, on a Dingle Bay tour. A jaunting car ride is the perfect chance to see the best of Killarney and take a step back in time, and a stop at the historic beehive huts in Dingle is a truly exceptional experience. Our Dingle Peninsula tours have a dedicated driver guide to entertain throughout the trip, as well as 4G WiFi on board our modern air-conditioned coaches. Our aim is to provide the most enjoyable, comfortable experience possible and for that reason we include the cost of many admissions in the price of our tickets.
